Final Assignment: Choose Your Own Storytelling Method

Once students finish creating a video recording on their spoken word piece we are working on creating a story using any storytelling method.  Possible storytelling methods include:

1) short story
2) epic poem
3) song ballad
4) board game
5) video game plan
6) interior design
7) architecture
8) film script
9) play script

To help with some of the more unorthodox approaches, we will be discussing the concept of environmental storytelling.  Here are some links about it:

First Drafts of short stories should be shared with Mr. Davidge via google share to jcdavidge@educbe.ab.ca.  You story file should have the story title and your first name and last name initial.  First draft are due by Friday, November 8. Spoken Word Due Date and Submission

Spoken Word pieces should be submitted by the end of class on Wednesday, January 8th . Either google doc or google video should be titled Spoken Word [Student Name]. Google file should be shared to jcdavidge@educbe.ca. Also, order forms for the book went out today and are due by Friday, January 17.
