Spoken Word Begins

As we wrap the class time to work on stories, some students are already working on spoken word pieces.  Oor goal will be to create pieces that we then will video record for digital sharing.
Here are some tips for writing spoken word.

Book Draft Review Proof 1

The first proof for our book has been prepared.  This proof still has to be copy edited by Mr. Davidge. Today is that last day to get your story in for publication. For those of you who have already submitted your story for publication, please review this proof linked here for any formating errors or other edits.  All edits must be done through Mr. Davidge at this stage.

Book getting finalized

On Monday, November 12 all students should have shared their story for our anthology titled  Falling from the Flames with Mr. Davidge via google to his google address (jcdavidge@educbe.ca).  On that day, Mr. Davidge will be starting to copy stories into the publishing file (that students don't have direct access to) and will begin editing for publication. Cover artists should have their final image to Mr. Davidge by Monday, November 19 . Be sure to have room for the title (but don't put in the title). Dimensions should be 6x9 and any digital images shared should be 300 dpi (dots per inch).
